The project consisted of a portal frame steel structure with a 10m cantilevered awning, jointless fibre slabs, mass concrete backfill retaining walls along the building perimeter and a 400m² office. The loading docks were inset to the building and completely undercover, with a fascia truss spanning 36m supporting the canopy roof. Careful detailing consideration was required for the steel design, as the 10m portal frame awnings were designed to fix to the adjacent already constructed stage 1 warehouse.
