Structural Features

Douglas Construction & Engineering approached us with some budget issues on this project that had already been completely structural engineered and documented by another firm. We identified and delivered savings of 21.5t of structural steelwork (25% of all steelwork in the project) and 247cum of concrete (20% of all concrete in the project).

The warehouse had just 3No internal columns, with a central transfer beam with 4No 22m clear spans. The attached awning is 9m cantilevered.
