Structural Features

This project involved two warehouses, both developed by Madad Investments. The first warehouse tenanted by AIRR involves a three-span portal frame superstructure with metal clad walls. Key features include a 37m wide super awning spanning over the hardstand and a 15m wide awning on the end wall. The second warehouse will be occupied by Sealy. This warehouse consisted of a portal frame structure with full height tilt panel walls. Key features include two 5T gantry cranes, 4m retaining externally on the northern elevation resolved through mass concrete backfill, 4.5m retaining under the office and a detailed services trench layout which had to be coordinated carefully with the warehouse slab on ground.
