Vince Williams

Founder | Executive Chair

RPEQ NER CPEng MIEAust APEC IntPE (Aust) EC (Vic) BSP (Tas) BE (Hons)

Vince’s life philosophy is that you get out what you put in. His self-motivation, determination, hard work, and ability to succeed led him to found Tungsten Structures in mid-2015, when he was 31 years old and just 10 years out of university. His primary intention for starting this business was to benefit from greater freedom and flexibility in his professional life.

Vince is inspired and influenced almost daily by the hundreds of non-fiction books in his library. The most influential has been the first, Tim Ferris’s The 4-Hour Workweek, which he read in 2008 while still in his twenties. This book has driven Vince’s vision and mission to create wealth, be that professional, personal, and financial, for himself, his team, and his customers. He has since reread the book repeatedly, and it has inspired his development and implementation of the innovative 4-Day Workweek and employee share scheme at Tungsten Structures.

Vince is on a mission to create the world’s most efficient and sustainable consulting business. He balances this mission with his passions for travel, well-being, and fitness. He has visited more than 40 countries and has been an avid CrossFitter since 2014, while in his younger years he was paid to play local club-level AFL.

In 2022, Vince moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife to support her career. In 2025, he returned to Australia and now serves as Executive Chair of Tungsten Structures. In this role, he remains active in the business and accountable for helping steer the company’s direction, strategy, vision, mission, and growth, while supporting and mentoring the leadership team.

Adam Segrave

Adam Segrave

Managing Director | Senior Associate Structural Engineer

RPEQ RPEng BE (Hons)

As our Managing Director, Adam still loves to get his hands dirty on-site as our projects come to life. An avid people-person, you will just as likely find Adam solving nitty-gritty construction issues in person, having a coffee while getting to know our new clients, or in the office ensuring that all members of Team Tungsten are happy and the business is running smoothly.

Adam came to engineering the long way around; having already undertaken a degree in nanotechnology, he decided that the more practical nature of engineering made this field a better fit. Graduating from university in 2012, Adam joined Tungsten in late 2015, soon after its founding, and has been helping lead the charge ever since.

When Adam isn’t on-site or reviewing some of our contemporary new designs, you’ll find him spending time with his daughter whilst feeding the many animals on his growing homestead.

If you have a question about any hobby known to man, the chances are that Adam can tell you about it. A master of beer brewing, barista extraordinaire, manager of a homestead (complete with chickens, ducks, geese, and aquaponics), smoker of meats, and self-confessed Subaru fan—there is pretty much nothing Adam can’t do. Oh, did we mention that he is a trained chef? Yep, he’s our jack of all trades, literally!
